Class A Local P&D Driver. Experience and HazMat Preferred

Extraordinary growth the last 12 months has prompted us to augment our driver staff with the following permanent positions.

Currently, we are in need of:

10 experienced Class A

HazMat Endorsed Intrastate LTL Pickup and Delivery Drivers
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications Required For LTL P & D Driver:

- Class A CDL with 2 years experience in type.

- HazMat Endorsement preferred

- 3 Years Clean Driving Record

- Knowledge and ability in performing Vehicle Inspections
- Some manual labor is required.
- Willingness and ability to display critical thinking skills.
- Communicate with dispatch frequently using a provided 2-Way radio.
- Adhere to the procedures and policies detailed in the employee manual.
- Excel in an independent working environment.
- Be Punctual – some trips begin as early as 4AM.
- Make 1–20 deliveries per day – maps / directions to stops are provided.
- Willingness to be radio dispatched to perform up to 6 pickups per day.
- Some manual labor is required.
-In the event that a delivery is to a residence, freight may have to be hand off loaded, this comprises at least 10% of all deliveries.
-At deliveries, pallets may have to be brought to the back of the trailer utilizing a pallet jack.
-More than 60% of all deliveries are dock deliveries.
