CDL Truck Driver

Well established company on the East side of town, near The Highlands, is searching for a qualified CDL Truck Driver. The trucks capacity would be more than 3 tons and the individual will be transporting materials to and from two local destinations in the Highlands area, so drivers are able to be home each night.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Other duties may be assigned.

Prepare paperwork for load picked up.
Maintain truck log, according to state and federal regulations.
Maintain telephone and/or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
Load and unload truck.
Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
Perform emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains, and spark plugs as needed.
HAZMAT experience is required.
REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience:
One year certificate from college or technical school; and three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
