VanHoekelen Greenhouses, Inc. has been in business since 1988. We are a family owned corporation, operating two seven-acre greenhouse facilities in McAdoo, Pennsylvania (just 2 hours from Philadelphia and New York). We grow and distribute many types of plants such as tulips, hyacinths, mums, poinsettias, cactus, etc. In addition we have a VHG Freight Department, which includes 3 dispatchers. The dispatchers keep our trucks running year round with outside loads, during our off season period. We have been continually expanding our fleet to accommodate the time sensitive delivery requirements of our customers in all 48 states LTL. Our trucking fleet currently consists of 25 tractors, 20 reefers, and 6 straight trucks.

Good Hourly Pay. CDL-A Tractor Trailer Drivers starting at $14.00/hr (All hours paid at straight time)
Layover Pay-Minimum 8 hours worked/paid per day while out on the road
OTR(Over-The-Road),across 48 states. Multistop deliveries.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to lift up to 40lbs continuously
Minimum 6 months verifiable CMV CDL-A experience
Valid driving license (permits not accepted)
Minimum age of 23 (for company insurance coverage)
Reefer experience a plus
Clean driving record
No more than 3 moving violations and / or accidents in the most recent 3 years.
No more than 2 moving violations and / or accidents in the most recent year.Drivers with the following major convictions within the past five years will not be considered for a driving position (over five years is subject to review):


DUI/DWI
Leaving the scene of an accident
Careless or reckless driving
Homicide or assault through the use of a motor vehicle.
Drivers who currently have a suspended or revoked license.
Attempting to elude law enforcement.
