Account Managers are the front-line contact with all customers! They act as the Liaison between customers and other RhinoPak employees in managing all customer requests and priorities. The Account Manager coordinates and manages daily customer support activities, including order entry, component and finished product inventory management, general correspondence, and production scheduling. They are expected to completely manage the relationship with the customer, ensuring that the customer's needs are fully met.
Responsibilities:
At times, negotiate prices with the customer for work orders, returned materials, etc.
Resolve disputes with the customer, such as billing issues, short payments, etc, and ensure that the customer pays invoices on time and in full.
Manage relationships with suppliers for the customer, to ensure that the customer is receiving excellent value from their suppliers.
Develop new processes that allow RhinoPak to better serve the customer, present the new processes to the customer, and convince the customer that the improvement will lead to better service for the customer.
Interact with the customer's support groups (Finance, Inventory Management, IT, etc) and act as a go-between with the similar functions at RhinoPak to ensure that the customer's experience with RhinoPak is positive.
Ensure that all customer specifications are received and are complete prior to production.
When appropriate, schedule production requirements and ensure that production meets their targets.
Evaluate profitability of the customer's account and make changes, which will improve profitability
May manage small accounts independently with the advice and guidance of more senior staff. In this case, is responsible for all aspects of the account.
Monitor on time shipments.
Documentation in customer specific information systems and maintain uniform customer files and paperwork.
Enter orders, prepare bills of lading, initiate work orders, and enter purchase orders in ASK.
Develop standard operating procedures for each customer.
Monitor, reconcile, and report inventory levels.
Assist with administration of physical inventory counts.
Manage sample requests.
Receive bulk material.
Attend daily production meetings.
Assist team members as needed.
