Windows System Programmer

The Windows Systems Programmer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, documenting, and operating programs for use on HBS systems and products.

Essential Job Functions:
•Designs and writes computer programs to handle a user’s need. Prepares program specifications and system diagrams.

•Reviews test procedures and makes revisions and refinements to existing programs.

•Assist users with day-to-day problems by troubleshooting problems occurring in programs or databases.

•Prepares and maintains program documentation and production procedures for new programs.Presents a finished task with documentation and instructions for usage.

•Maintains communication with users concerning program problems. Discusses designs which will meet their requirements. Assists users in use of programs and languages.

•Complete special projects when assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Education

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus.

Experience
Must have four years programming experience or a combination of education and experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must be proficient using Win 32 API, Visual Studio, Visual C, .NET, Windows CE / Pocket PC, and Windows 2003 / XP. Terminal Server knowledge is a plus. Superior problem-solving skills – technical, mechanical, interpersonal. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong multitasking, time management and organizational skills. Must be able to work independently as well as a member of a team.
