Websphere Portal Developer - Java J2EE
Requirements:
•Must be a US citizen
•IBM Websphere Portal experience
•BS in CS, 5+ years experience with Java development. Experience with IBM WebSphere and Portal.
•IBM Certification a plus
Description:
•Seeking a candidate with Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) * using Websphere for Portal Development.
•Candidate must be U.S. Citizen with IT-II or clearable at that level.
•This person will provide support to clients installing and configuring
•WebSphere and WebSphere Portal. Development of portlets to support portal functionality in client environments.
Skills:
•Websphere Portal Experience (1-2 years)
•Experience developing with Java technologies, including JSP, Servlets (3-5 years)
•Experience in unit testing JAVA with tools such as Junit
•Individual needs to be knowledgeable in developing code to connect, retrieve, process, and display data from various datasources including RDBMS and XML. (2-3 years)
•Major areas of knowledge, skill, and experience; desired seniority level; special requirements
•Senior Level experience is required
•IBM Websphere Commerce
•IBM Websphere Portal
•Database access (JDBC, DB2, and Oracle).
•Java user interfaces (WSAD, Eclipse, etc.)
•XML APIs for reading/writing (Xerxes, Java XML Parser)
•J2SE 1.4 & J2EE 1.3.
•Web technologies like DHTML/XHTML, JavaScript, and JSP Apache 2.0 HTTP Server, Tomcat 4.1.24 Server, WebSphere Application Server, Web Services (SOAP)
REQUIREMENTS
