Web Programmer/Designer

Must have 2-3 years experience developing custom Internet and client-based Web applications and/or 2-3 years experience in Web design with the ability to build interactive Web sites, interactive CD/DVDs, Flash movies, and more.
REQUIREMENTS
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Overall Business Skills:

-Excellent communication including the ability to write and speak in fluent English.
-Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks based on work requirements and deadlines.
-A team player.

Programming Requirements:

-Works off of a Functional Project Plan that defines the scope of the project’s functionality.
-Works with a programming team to plan out methodology that will be used to program the application.
-Programs in ASP.NET 2.0 with C# and writes scripts for custom Web site applications.
-Uses Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Professional.
-Uses SQL database functions to create database-driven applications.
-Integrates programming code into the graphic Web site layout and HTML provided by a Web Designer.
-Inputs data into databases, Administrative Interfaces, and Web sites, as necessary.
-Remains up to date on latest browser and plug-in technology.
-JavaScript experience is a plus.

Graphic Design Requirements:

-Works with the Project Manager and client to conceptualize a graphic layout of client's Web site, interactive CD/DVDs, or logos.
-Selects appropriate images, typography, and colors to ensure projects are visually appealing and user-friendly.
-Makes changes to designs based on feedback from the Creative Director, Project Manager, and client.
-Uses Macromedia Fireworks, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop to create layouts.


HTML & CSS Coding Requirements:

-Transforms graphic layouts of Web sites to HTML pages.
Slices graphics files into optimized images used on Web sites.
-Uses Macromedia Dreamweaver to build pages using HTML and CSS.
-Integrates client content into pages.
-Experience building W3C compliant pages is a plus.

Flash/Motion Design Requirements:

-Uses Macromedia Flash to create a variety of projects ranging from -Web page intros, small movies, tradeshow presentations, all-Flash sites, and interactive CD/DVDs.
-Has a good working knowledge of ActionScript 2.0.
-Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and/or 3D software is a plus.
