Web Production Assistant

We are designing and launching a new website and are seeking a WEB PRODUCTION ASSISTANT to work collaboratively with the entire e-commerce team to drive sales through marketing, merchandising, and promotional techniques for online properties. This position will be within our Advertising Department located at the Corporate Headquarters, 150 Price Parkway, Farmingdale, N.Y.

The Web Assistant will be responsible for various aspects of Website content updates, design and maintainance. Additional responsibilities include the administration of Web projects, basic office tasks and creative input for Website structure and overall funtionality.
REQUIREMENTS


The ideal candidate will have professional web design experience, although candidates with a strong academic background and/or portfolio without professional web experience will be considered.

*Detail-oriented with solid web design fundamentals, essential for site maintenance and improvement projects.

*Proficient in HTML, CSS, Photoshop. Flash and Illustrator is a plus.

*Strong customer service skills.

*Ability to meet multiple deadlines with minimal supervision.

*An eye for detail, layout and design.
