iVillage seeks a talented and driven person to manage its day-to-day email operations so as to help maximize revenue by optimizing the products, audiences and processes involved. iVillage's email business covers iVillage.com, Astrology.com, Hearst Magazines, and gURL.com.ABOUT THE POSITION:
Oversee the daily email production process and systems, from content entry through QA to send, for editorial newsletters and direct marketing mailings.Essential Responsibilities:
Liaise with Tech group regarding audience data capture and management, content management system and opt-in marketing on the website.Liaise with Editorial team regarding newsletter content, and opt-in marketing on the website.Liaise with Metrics team to ensure optimal tracking of all opt-in and email activity.Liaise with Commerce team to help manage re-marketing campaigns.Liaise Customer Service Team to communicate product developments and changes and to serve as point of contact for any email-related user issues.Responsible for company-wide communication of up-to-date email schedules and practices.Manage internal marketing levers within newsletter emails.Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in email publishing and marketing and help ensure iVillage retains best-of-breed systems and processes.Assist with other online direct marketing activities, including: affiliate marketing, search marketing, optimization and strategy.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: *Min 1 year HTML experience
Min 1 year experience Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
Bachelor's DegreeDesired: * Excellent organizational skills with sharp attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively across multiple departments/groups with
strong communication skills.
Strong sensitivity to trust-based membership marketing.
Good strategic analysis skills and demonstrated ability to take data,
draw insights and make recommendations
Experience in email marketing industry consumer database
marketing and list management a plus.
