Web Developer, Project Leader

Web Developer with at least 2-4 years experience and have good experience with web content to include Broadvision, HTML, MS Sharepoint, Javascript, JSP, CSS, and Cold Fusion.



Detailed Responsibilities:

Initiate content changes.

Assist in the creation and maintenance of website content through coordination with business units and functional departments.

Posting of content to website.

Responsible for day-to-day content creation, development and implementation of content for Pitney Bowes intranet sites.

Evaluate content and provide suggestions/improvements as needed.

Ensure message consistency and proofread site content for proper grammar usage, typographical errors and content accuracy.

Format website content in a manner consistent with the PB image.

Support and maintain website content

Ensure all content remains up-to-date.

Remove out-of-date content in a timely fashion.

Serve as liaison between business units and functional departments, administrative offices, and the Director of Intranet Strategy & Development regarding project status, content needs and departmental requirements.

Ensure layout, positioning, and the look and feel of content remain consistent across and throughout the organization.

Meet with business units, and functional departments to discuss their website content needs.

Create bi-monthly e-mail reminders for website updates.

Collaborate with Intranet Strategy & Development staff on web assignments, workflow and scheduling.

Perform all other duties as assigned or requested. REQUIREMENTS
Must have at least 2-4 years of work experience in developing Web applications
Technical proficiency includes all of the following:
1. BroadVision One-to-One Content 6.5-7.1
2. HTML
3. MS Sharepoint
4. Javascript and Java Script Pages
5. CSS
6. Lotus Notes Database & Email client
7. Cold Fusion
8. Macromedia DreamWeaver
9. MS Office products (Word/Excel/Access/PowerPoint, Outlook email, etc..)
10. Must know how to manage web content



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Handle multiple tasks in a deadline-based environment.

Interact and work with staff at all levels.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to details.

Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.

High level of proficiency using Broadvision One-to-One Content 6.5-7.1, HTML, MS Sharepoint, Javascript, JSP, CSS, Lotus Notes Database & Email client, and Cold Fusion.

Thorough knowledge of MS Office

Write end-user documentation for non-technical staff and help to train employees to self-publish.
