Web Developer, Drupal/PHP

Classification: Contract to Full Time Compensation: $30 to $40 per hour Responsibilities Produces courses, cases, online publications and knowledge-on-demand items to be delivered via a Learning Management System (A-Tutor and Reload) or in Drupal.Provides advice in the production of web casts and streaming presentations.Assists with and provides technical recommendations in content archiving and related META tagging.Interfaces with quality control staff regarding submitted products including but not limited to online publications, Courses and Cases.Other duties, as assigned.Interfaces with the Information Technology division as needed.
Provide feedback regarding the use of software.
Skills & RequirementsStrong knowledge of and experience with:

Programming languages (i.e., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, PHP)

Relational Databases (i.e., MySQL and administration)

Operating systems and server setups (i.e., Win 2K, XP) Multimedia (i.e., Photoshop, Flash - Action Scripting, Dreamweaver, Adobe Acrobat)Experience with user interface design.Experience with Learning Management and Content Management systems, as well as the deployment of equivalent software assemblies.Understanding of Learning Object instruction and support system infrastructure.Knowledge of story boarding / wire framing.Strong oral and written communication skills.Effective customer service skills and prior experience supporting internal customers.EducationA Bachelor's or higher degree required, preferably with a combination of majors and minors in computer science, arts, or education.
