Position Summary / Web Outline
This is a great opportunity for a quick learner to grow their knowledge of the financial industry while applying cutting edge technology for a fast growing and exciting company. This candidate will be a member of the team responsible for web development and integration into Scottrade's external and internal web sites. This development position will transform and implement design concepts into a production environment using C#, ASP.NET, HTML, Javascript, CSS and ASP in a Windows IIS Server environment. Procedures for postings and application development adhere to production change control standards.



Duties and Responsibilities


Work with junior and senior development members, as well as business and product departments to develop and write web applications and systems.

Unit test each solution to ensure proper performance and efficiency guidelines are met.

Document programs in accordance with development standards and procedures. Create and/or modify current documentation.

Work within production control guidelines for production application changes.

Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of operating systems and hardware used in Scottrade's development and production environments.

Assist in mentoring and training on program functionality, design and architecture.

Foster company success through a professional appearance, being courteous to customers and all Scottrade associates, and having a positive attitude.

Other projects/duties as assigned.
