Web Designer / Graphic Designer

The Elephant Group Corporation is seeking a web designer who will be responsible for developing and implementing the graphical layout of web sites, online image ads, landing pages, and email templates for multiple ecommerce web properties.

This position will collaborate primarily with the Director of our e-commerce department while developing all projects, and will be an integral contributor with a team of marketing managers, writers and programmers.

The Elephant Group is a sales/marketing company for many well-known consumer electronic brands. We market services for DIRECTV, DISH Network, Comcast, Sirius Satellite Radio and many others. We have offices in New Jersey, Maryland, Florida and other areas of the United States.

Responsibilities:

•Develop and publish complete web designs for multiple ecommerce web properties.
•Develop email newsletter and advertising templates while incorporating provided content, for email marketing campaigns targeted to current and prospective customers.
•In coordination with ad writer, design static, animated GIFs, and other online image ads such as banner ads, block ads, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:

•2-5 years web design experience
•Proficient in Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Fireworks, Flash, Illustrator
•Exceptional working knowledge of HTML, CSS
•Working knowledge of ASP preferred but not required
•Knowledge of JavaScript and browser compatibility issues.
•Must posses strong design and conceptual skills with close attention to detail.
•Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks while meeting deadlines.
•Must send portfolio links for review.
