In this role you will coordinate web based communications, provide writing/editing, content development, leadership, and strategic planning for existing and future site content. This will involve adapting existing content to align with current business unit marketing initiatives as well as developing email campaigns around various service and product lines. You will coordinate the effective and appropriate use of the web to reach and serve internal and external stakeholders and audiences.
Responsibilities include:
Writing, producing, proofing, updating, and maintaining effective lead generating web content for landing pages, emails, eNewsletters, help files, training documentation, product data, online advertising and web promotions, and search engine metadata.
Co-managing specific business channel sites
Developing user-friendly site copy by creating and maintaining consistent web content standards
Coordinating off line marketing copy with the creative effort of on-line presentation
Serving as the primary liaison with various language translations vendors to traffic web copy for translations
Assisting marketing communications to develop promotional content
Consulting with internal business unit managers on strategic web content planning and developing an editorial calendar to facilitate on-time delivery
Desired Qualifications:
2-3 years professional web writing experience, specifically writing web-based marketing content (samples required)
Must have a Bachelor's degree in communications, English, or related field
Knowledge of basic SEO and how to write for better results is a plus
Should possess excellent web writing skills including the integration of offline copy to the web
Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, editing, and analytical skills
Basic fundamental knowledge of HTML
Thorough knowledge of the English language, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and usage
The ability to prioritize projects, work quickly, establish deadlines internally and with external business customers and meet those deadlines working independently
