Web Content Specialist

ENTER JOB TITLE

Select Comfort, Minnesota-based Creator of the Sleep Number® Bed and the nation's #1 ranked bedding retailer for each of the past 6 years running (Furniture Today, 2000-2005), is seeking a Web Content Specialist for our corporate headquarters offices in Plymouth.

Responsibilities:

•Develop and implement copy and content for all Select Comfort websites, e-mail and partner sites.

•Assist in the integration of content elements into layouts produced by graphic designer.

•Ensure all necessary business, compliance and regulatory requirements are met.

•Coordinate day-to-day business aspects of the Select Comfort websites including orchestrating and maintaining the user interface, navigation, content, creative, promotions, products, and functionality.

•Rigorously maintain quality assurance standards throughout website production process.

•Serve as a liaison between Marketing, IT, Retail Sales, Customer Service, and end customers, to facilitate online product catalog, content and usability enhancements.

•Organize and oversee website projects, meeting timelines and using effective communication between internal as well as external customers.

•Proactively manage customer satisfaction by monitoring e-customer feedback, identifying issues, analyzing information, recommending courses of action, and implementing new website functionality or solutions.

•Make sound decisions based on analytics from customer surveys and site traffic patterns.

•Assist in assessing, recommending and managing vendor relationships as appropriate.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:

Bachelors degree required.

2+ years web site content management and production experience required.

Prefer 2+ years experience in marketing.

Strong knowledge of web technologies.

Proven project management skills and a proven execution track record required.

Excellent analytical, oral presentation, interpersonal, and written communication skills required.

Strong consumer focus, including ability to think in terms of consumer experience required.

Ability to persevere through periods of significant change and business challenges and demonstrate a high level of energy and flexibility.

Manage multiple projects.

Must be able to work with Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point.

Exceptional writing and editing skills for web-based content.

Customer focused writing and attitude.

Basic HTML skills.

Occasional travel for usability studies or conferences (up to 1 to 2 times per year).
