Vermont Information Consortium operates the Vermont.gov portal on behalf of the State of Vermont. We provide Internet-based electronic government services that reduce costs and provide a higher level of service to businesses and citizens. We are currently seeking a deadline-oriented, creative individual to join our team taking secure applications from concept, through development, to launch and maintenance.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
•Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline
•Hands-on experience with UNIX operating systems, HTML, CSS, PHP, SQL, and Java (J2EE, JSP, JDBC)
•In-depth familiarity with the Internet-based applications and security principles
•Familiarity with additional programming languages, Perl, SOAP, AJAX, XML, Oracle, MySQL, Photoshop, and Illustrator a plus
•Strong organizational and prioritization skills
•Able to handle multiple projects in various stages of development and interact directly with clients

Our offices are located in Montpelier, but the company is nationally oriented with growth opportunities available. This position is full time with competitive salary and benefit package. Local candidates are preferred as relocation expenses are not available.
