As a member of the Internet Development Group, the Web Application Developer will work within a group primarily developing and maintaining various ASP.Net Web applications, Windows desktop applications and Windows NT Services using Visual Studio .NET and VB.NET. He / she will also be responsible for helping to design, document, build and test these applications. The Web Application Developer must be adept at working independently as well as within a team.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
•1-3 years software development experience using Visual Studio .NET, Visual Basic .NET, and either SQL Server or Oracle Databases.
•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Required Skills:
•ASP.Net Application Development using VB.Net and SQL Server 2000 on Windows Server 2003.
•VB.Net Object Oriented Design and development.
•Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP (VBScript), HTTP, SSL and building Web UIs for a variety of Web browsers.

Preferred Skills:
•Basic Management of IIS 6 on Windows Server 2003.
•Building horizontally scalable Web applications in a load-balanced environment.
•Familiarity with Transact SQL and SQL stored procedure development.
•Basic management of SQL Server Databases
•Troubleshooting problems with existing software systems using all technologies listed in this job description.
