Web Analyst - Lexington, MA

You understand data analysis and how it applies to business practices. You could be a Web Analyst for VistaPrint. You will be responsible for performing detailed web site analyses, proactively identifying opportunities to improve and refine the site. You'll use our analytic tools to drill into click-stream and related data, and turn that data into action. Focusing on development and execution, you will work closely with Marketing Managers to understand business needs and how to translate them into data requests. You will develop action plans, analyze results and present findings. Working with the Manager of Web Analytics, you will prioritize and manage multiple projects. You will develop processes to detect and investigate poor campaign and site performance. You will also execute ad-hoc analytic requests from marketing managers. You'll play a critical role in managing our multivariate testing capabilities. You'll work in teams to integrate findings and models into company operations.

REQUIREMENTS


You should have a Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Marketing or another relevant field (advanced degree preferred), as well as at least 2 years of professional business experience. You have a proven ability to multi-task and excellent problem solving skills. You must be proficient in developing SQL queries, and have a deep understanding of how the web works (i.e., client-server interactions, how to track metrics, etc.). You must be able to work independently and perform exploratory data analysis. You must be a quick learner with the ability to apply new tools, technologies and techniques, particularly our databases, to your work. You must have excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage projects supporting multiple businesses simultaneously. Exemplary communication skills and strong business acumen are required to understand corporate strategy, interact with clients and present actionable findings. Experience with web analytics concepts and tools such as WebTrends, Coremetrics and Fireclick are a plus, as is experience performing statistical analysis in SAS.
