WEB DESIGNER/PRODUCER

Creates websites in HTML and CSS. Performs creative services and production for web-based and multimedia products, work such as graphic design and layout, and interface design. Prepares advertising materials for online usage, including use of special effects, color, animation, etc. Determines work needed to create advertisements according to the sales representative or client instructions. Must create all versions of on-line advertisements including speculative ads, splash pages, mini-sites. Must have strong understanding of online file size requirements. Creates or modifies logos and graphics.
Edits and optimizes video for web use. Works closely with advertising coordinator, sales representatives, and online design team.Desired Characteristics:Position requires artistic and creative abilities, knowledge of related fields such as marketing, merchandising, consumerism and the ability to prioritize work and perform under deadline pressure. Must be committed to quality, performance, and reliability of site design. Must have ability to communicate with co-workers. This position requires rapid adoption of any new technology that is deemed important for operations.
REQUIREMENTS
One to two years of online advertising/design studio/publishing experience preferred. BFA or BS in Computer Science preferred. Please provide an online portfolio with links to relevant pieces of work.Requirements for Web designer/producer:
