Video/Furniture Buyer

This individual is directly involved in the buying decisions and vendor negotiations for consumer electronics products.

While managing inventory, create product assortment and negotiate prices and terms from vendors, this person will forecast sales and purchases with the Inventory team to maximize sales and increase inventory turn along with planning with the inventory team item by item transitions to minimize discontinued merchandise and limit the gross margin drain on the department.

The candidate will also assist in all marketing activities designed to drive sales of consumer electronic products in all of our markets.

Also this individual is responsible for aiding the GMM in:
1. Executing all price protections
2. Resolving all invoice discrepancies,
3. New item start up in Tyler system
4. Tyler in store item tagging.
5. Vendor communications
6. Advertising

Job Skills Required
The ideal candidate will be an individual who possess buying exp and 2 plus years of store management or vendor experience.

Personal Characteristics Needed
Must be a self starter.
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
Great attention to detail with strong organizational skills
