Unix Overnight Operator

Modell's is looking for an Overnight Unix Operator for our IT Department. This person will work out of our corporate office, located in the heart of Manhattan in the Garment District in Midtown.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Running a nightly job streamReporting major problems to the appropriate supervisor during your shiftNightly tape backupsPolling data from all stores in chainPrinting and distribution of nightly sales reportsSupport for Distribution Center during shiftKeeping a nightly log of what events occurred throughout the nightMaintaining stockroom orderFaxing nightly sales reports to department headsJob problem determination

HOURS:

Entry level Unix (Aix)Operator - 4 day work week

Tuesday-Thursday (3rd shift) 11pm - 8am

Sunday 8am - 6pm
