We are currently seeking a Technical Writer for our team in our Beavercreek, Ohio office.
Responsibilities
Write user help topics, proof content, and test software functionalityBecome familiar with assigned software modules and create release notesEnsure technical writing assignments are completed according to schedule and quality expectationsProactively interact with software engineers on a daily basisWork efficiently with minimum supervision
Qualifications
Four year degree preferably in liberal arts, business or a technical concentration, substantial relevant experience or military training may be considered in lieu of collegeTwo years technical writing in programming or on engineering team, formal technical writing training or certification is a plusHelp software experience, i.e. RoboHelpBasic knowledge of HTML, XML, and SQL or JavaScriptThree years work experienceConsideration for additional responsibilities will be given to candidates with technical backgrounds suitable for software quality assurance
