T-RHT-TS-Business Systems Analyst

Classification: Consulting Compensation: $35.00 to $45.00 per hour Immediate opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst with financial industry background: 5+ years experience.
Functions includes supporting all issues relating to daily production cycles, as well as daily questions and/or problems from both front office and back office personnel. Administrative functions include support for testing new releases, scheduling and monitoring of all production interfaces, ensuring the systems are in balance, identifying and resolving day to day problems, and supporting ad hoc reporting requests. Additionally, provide business and analytical expertise in defining business specifications for system enhancements as well as providing technical expertise for development efforts involving these systems.
IT support staff, operations personnel as well as the vendor support staff. Perform a liaison role between operations and all users of operations data as well as the support staff for both internal systems, external systems and various data providers. Serve as an expert both for reporting, as well as systems maintenance requirements. Support user report requests using Impromptu, and/or Crystal Report Writer software.
Serve as the expert for operational systems data as it interacts with other systems. Support the user community with prompt, effective problem resolution. Production interface cycles as well as supporting extracts and data files, data content, as well as daily reconciliation's between systems and a number of other internally developed interfaces and processes. Provide support for data maintenance, user ID access, as well as audit support. Performing maintenance as required, providing support for testing and software upgrades, and acting as a liaison between the end users and the software vendors. Support project management and/or project participation on system development projects. This will include participating in a variety of departmental system initiatives, involvement in business continuity issues and providing ad hoc reporting as needed. Strong communication skills required to facilitate prompt problem resolution, effective communication within all levels of the organization, as well as the creation of detailed system specifications. Perform system administration functions as required to support users within the operating systems infrastructure. Some of the systems supported include: accounting systems, trading systems, internal asset systems, and the Hyperion product suite is a plus.
