Systems Administrator/Technician

North Eastern Asset Recovery, Inc. (NEAR), a nationally recognized medical collections agency, is seeking a Systems Administrator/Technician in White Plains, NY.

The Systems Administrator is responsible for installing and maintaining various servers, PC’s, and network gear, and assisting with the troubleshooting and maintenance of related office equipment and computer devices. Duties will include, creating and maintaining user profiles and authority, assisting in configuring and setting up new computer systems and servers, installing software patches, performing system upgrades, and evaluating new software needs. This individual will serve as the main point of contact for troubleshooting all network and software application issues, as well as maintaining various office equipment, including copiers, printers, fax machines, scanners and telephone system. REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, plus 2-3 years of Systems Administration or related experience with a wide range of network systems, protocols and applications. Comprehensive knowledge of multi-user computer systems and applications, including Microsoft Windows Servers, Exchange Servers, and Terminal Servers, required; as well as thorough knowledge of LAN and WAN network implementations.
