Job Description:

· Senior project role supporting ongoing development, deployment and administration of an Enterprise Management System (EMS). EMS provides IT Service Management functionality using the ITIL framework (Service Desk, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management, Configuration Management, Availability Management, Capacity Management, IT Service Continuity Management, Financial Management, and Service Level Management).

· Role will provide system administration of Windows 2000, Windows 2003, and Solaris 9 server platforms.

· Responsible for template development and administration of HP Openview Operations, Openview SPIs, and system scripting to manage system performance and event management.

· Responsible for administering multiple server instances’ operating systems for the EMS.

· Responsible for performance monitoring and tuning - isolation, identification and correction of performance bottlenecks. Formulates and monitors policies, procedures and standards relating to storage and access management. Establish and execute plans and operating instructions for backup and recovery.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:

· BS degree plus 5 or more year’s systems administration experience. Associates degree with vendor server administration/engineering certification may be substituted for BS degree. MS degree and 3 or more year’s systems administration experience.



Experience:

· A good working knowledge of both UNIX and Windows server platforms (Solaris 9, WIN2000, WIN2003). Strong HP Openview Operations and OVO Template development and management.

· Experience with HPOpenView, Remedy, and/or Oracle server applications. Awareness of or certification in, ITIL best practices framework for IT Service Management.

· Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI CI Poly
