Structural Engineer - Transmission & Distribution

Burns & McDonnell, a premier provider of engineering consulting services since 1898, is seeking Senior Structural Engineers to join our Transmission and Distribution team. This position is responsible for performing design on various projects, preparing estimate proposals with progressive design and project management responsibilities. Provide leadership, guidance and instruction to less experienced staff members as well as meet and interact with clients. Some marketing responsibilities.
REQUIREMENTS
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering from accredited program plus 7 years related experience (completion of master's degree in related field may be substituted for one year of experience). Experience in Transmission/Substation industry, either consultant or electric utility position. Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Well versed in Transmission industry-related analytical & design software/programs. PLS-CADD software skills preferred. PE. Consulting experience preferred. Masters degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
