Sr. UNIX Systems Administrator with Legato

Classification: Consulting Compensation: $36.00 to $38.00 per hour Job Description/Duties Develop, implement, maintain monitor, and enforce backups and recovery procedures
Perform as senior UNIX technical resources
Provide 3rd level technical support and primary technical support required
•Perform on-call duties
•Administer and maintain Unix-related software
•Develop and deploy UNIX shell scripts
•Evaluate and review hardware upgrades and replacementsSpecial Skills/Competencies
•Knowledge of data networks, storage, and tape subsystems
•Familiarity with Oracle applications executing in a UNIX environment
•Knowledge of HP-UX and Sun Solaris operating systems
•Familiarity with the HP server and auxiliary hardware operation principlesRequirements
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related Technical Field
•Minimum of 10 years of increasing responsibility in HP-UX and HP hardware including security
•5 plus years of administering backup and recovery strategies with emphasis on Legato Systems
•Minimum of 4 years developing UNIX shell scripts
•Minimum of 2 years of advanced X-Windows, NFS, NIS, DNS, and TCP/IP experience
