Sr Systems Engineer (Project Engineer Cabin Entertainment

This position is for a Systems Engineering Sr. Project Engineer who will be responsible for providing direction for major Systems project(s). Successful candidate will have previous experience as a Project Engineer with accountability to budgeting & scheduling. Ability to effectively use SAP and MS Project and Earned Value. Project execution responsibilities will include project planning and bidding, risk management, project scope control, and change management.



Candidate must be highly motivated and possess effective oral/written communication and interpersonal/team skills. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking, analysis and reporting at Team Performance Reviews (TPRs) and Program reviews. Must be able to communicate both professionally & technically to peers, internal management, and customers.



Candidate must have the ability to coordinate several projects and complex engineering activities while balancing priorities and schedules. Works with Lead Systems Engineers Technical Project Managers, and Resource Managers to ensure appropriate technical solutions are implemented. Responsible to coordinate technical issues/problems and resolution. Identifies resources and skills needed to perform on efforts and communicates with Systems resource manager(s) to allow for project staffing in a timely manner. Applicant should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, have the ability to work with other people and have good team building skils. U.S. Citizenship or Green Card is required, domestic and International travel may be required.

Candidate must be self-motivated, possess effective oral/written communication and interpersonal/team skills, and be able to multiplex tasks and assignments effectively. Knowledge of systems engineering methods is desired.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in applicable engineering or science field or six years related exempt experience plus six years related exempt experience.
