In this position, you will be leading technical position on a team responsible for all aspects of power architecture, characterization, analysis, and optimization for Intel's future generation server-class microprocessor. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Contributing in a technical leadership role to the development of a complete, cohesive strategy for characterizing, analyzing and optimizing power in a high-end server-class CPU
- Working with team members across all disciplines of the design environment, including circuit, logic-design, RTL, performance modeling, and microarchitecture teams
- Working with third-party EDA tools in some cases, but will also be responsible for developing additional tools to facilitate analysis and optimization in the multi-discipline design space
- Responsible for system-level architectural power design (power-optimized functional states), interaction with power-management driver developers, and other



job Requirements


You must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and 12 years of experience, or a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and 10 years of experience would be an added advantage. Additional qualifications include:
- Strong background in one or more disciplines of microprocessor design (multi-discipline experience preferred)
- Must have at least two years of experience in power characterization, analysis, and/or optimization of a high-end microprocessor
