The Sr. Portal/Web Systems Specialist is primarily responsible for the
implementation and configuration of new projects, supporting existing
Portal
functionality in the corporate systems area for Company. This job
includes: Identification of solutions to business problems
Project implementation and configuration of new functionality
Customer support through User Liaison process and other informal
interactions
Support of existing applications including coordination of tasks with
other team members.
Assist the Manager NA Corporate Systems in encouraging a working
environment in the IT Division which supports the strategic goals of
Company
and of IT, reflects attention to budget limits, project deadlines and
promotes
the development of IT staff,
Conducts a variety of development activities within the IT
organization
each year designed to increase the orientation, training &
development &
communication of IT staff.
Provide support and project services to all Company employees Daily /
Weekly
Work with SAP and other vendors as necessary to facilitate support
and
solution delivery as needed
Occasional travel (less than 30% of the time) involved
