Sr. Oracle DBA

We are seeking a Senior Oracle DBA to join our fast-paced technology team in Kansas City.

Specifically, you will be charged with creating efficiency in an enormous database with behavior information on more than 60 million online consumers.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Adknowlege’s Senior Oracle DBA position will be charged with:

•Gathering requirements.
•Database design and tuning.
•Writing, testing, and maintaining batch-oriented jobs.
•Providing database development assistance and code for software engineers.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

1.All resumes will be screened based on the aforementioned criteria by Human Resources.
2.The remaining applicants will be given a series of skills assessments related to the position.
3.Candidates meeting minimum assessment requirements will be given an online behavioral test to determine cultural fit.
4.Finally, the remaining candidates will undergo an in-depth interview in Kansas City.

REQUIREMENTS
We are seeking a senior level, hands-on professional with the following qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
•5+ years of database development experience in an Oracle environment with SQL.
•5+ years of working in a UNIX environment (systems administration is a plus!).
•5+ years of experience with Perl or shell scripting a plus.
•Experience tuning large, enterprise-level databases.
