Sr. Manager, CMOS Analog Design Engineer

The candidate must interact with Systems Engineers, Applications and Marketing to understand the system requirements for a given project; propose mixed signal architectural solutions that are manufacturable, cost effective and meet the power and performance requirements. Manage team to implement integrated circuit solutions; confirm performance and manufacturability by simulating over all process, temperature and operating condition; provide written micro-architecture specifications and oral architectural and implementation design reviews; provide technical leadership and oversight with respect to the junior engineering staff. May also manage a small digital team depending upon skills and background.Job Requirements
Requires a BSEE plus 9 years of directly related design experience, and 3-5 years management experience in an analog design environment.This candidate should possess:Mastery of CMOS analog circuit design principles from elementary circuit constructs to complex mixed signal systems including a solid knowledge of A/D, D/As and sample data theory
A thorough understanding of the tools of the trade, HSPICE, Eldo, MatLab, Mathcad, Verilog, VHDL, etc...
Deep knowledge of analog parasitic elements associated with physical layout of matched transistor, resistors, and capacitors
Proficiency in analog noise analysis techniques
High degree of innovation, creativity, silicon success and the ability to solve major problems of advance complexity
Excellent communication skills
Ability to motivate, mentor, and focus a team of senior designers
High degree of attention to a consistent and robust design methodology, strong schedule commitment, and ability to scope a project
Maintain hands-on design work while managing a small team
Program management experience a plus
