REQUIREMENTS
Manage traditional geotechnical engineering investigations, perform geotechnical analysis, prepare geotechnical reports and communicate with other clients. Duties include, but are not limited to, coordinating drill crews and assisting with on-site construction materials testing on an as needed basis. Professional responsibilities also include business development and marketing, profit/loss and utilization management, preparation of proposals, management of project budgets, invoicing, etc; client interface, personnel training, mentoring, and development. Skills should include: very strong communication skills (both written and oral), project and client management and an active contributing involvement in a growing environment.B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering required. Master Degree in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical Engineering emphasis) preferred. At least 8 years geotechnical engineering experience preferred. Previous experience writing geotechnical engineering reports needed. Must have strong written and oral communications skills (read, write, and speak acceptable business English) as well as reasoning and mathematical skills.P.E. required
