An experienced Design Engineer whose responsibilities will be the design and implementation of communication, signal processing, and cryptographic functions for a wide variety of projects using ASICs and FPGAs. The responsibilities will also include testbench development for the verification of these functions. Programming experience with VHDL, familiarity with FPGA tools (e.g., ACTEL, Xilinx, Altera), and working knowledge of RTL simulation tools such as ModelSim are required. Familiarity with the system simulation tools (e.g.. Matlab, SPW) is desirable as well as some background in communications and signal processing.

U.S. Citizenship required due to the potential for a significant amount on classified work requiring a security clearance.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in applicable engineering or science field or six years related exempt experience plus six years related exempt experience.
