Job Description:
This position is an immediate need with one of our direct Pharmaceutical clients.

Software Engineer

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Duration; 3-6 months (Contract to Hire)

W-2 Position only (NO Subcontracting)

The Technical Consultant is involved in the full life cycle of each project, from requirements gathering, through construction and project finalization.

Duties include interacting with clients through the preparation of technical specifications, writing and developing code, creating test cases, and performing quality assurance testing.

Keys to this Position: Looking for Software Engineer with 2 + years of Programming Experience and recent college Graduate.

Candidate willing to be trained in other Technologies (Web/Content Management Systems etc)

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:

· Candidates should have a background in software development and product configuration

· Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science

· At least 2-4 year of experience with a programming language; C /C++, Java, Perl, or VB - Preference would be Java or .Net

· Working knowledge of XML, XPATH, XSLT, HTML, HTTP

· Working knowledge of DBMS (SQL, Oracle, DB2 )

· Familiarity with Windows operating systems

· Good to Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this position

· Must be extremely comfortable with client facing work

· Must be able to travel to customer site when required

Other Skills:

· Knowledge of page layout software; QuarkXPress or Adobe InDesign

· Experience with Content Management Systems

· Familiarity with CVS or other code repository

· Experience in the financial industry
