Software Developer

TMD has a Regular Full Time Direct Hire position available with our client for a Software Developer.

The job duties include: Developing software applications for test and measurement or instrumentation controls, concentrating on user interface aspects of parameter entry, data display, and report generation.

Work with engineering staff on optimizing software applications for current and future products. Provide primary support for a standardized appearance and functionality of the user interface side of our products.
REQUIREMENTS
B.S. in Computer Science or other technical/engineering field with related programming experience preferred;

3-5 years of applicable work in Developing software applications for test and measurement or instrumentation controls, concentrating on user interface aspects of parameter entry, data display, and report generation.

Computer software skills - C++, Object Oriented Programming languages (Borland C++ Builder/VCL).

Ability to judge aesthetics of user interface design and follow standard user interface guidelines. Ability to understand complex data structures and efficiently interface them to the user in tabular, graphical, and user defined formats.

Experience with word processor development and automated report generation using user defined report templates.

Experience with OLE and interfacing to Microsoft Office products.

Familiarity with Direct X and Direct 3D.

Knowledge of Visual C++, and embedded programming desired.
