Software Design / Software Test Engineers

As part of a $5b global organization, my client is recognized as a leader in the worldwide orthopedic market and one of the world’s largest medical device companies. This division is dedicated to developing medical info-imaging software that optimizes office workflow and eliminates inefficiencies attributable to managing patient medical data.
Due to growth, we are looking for Software Test Engineers. These engineers will be required to design and automate complex tests of company-wide software products. They must be able to understand interdependencies and relationships among many software components and between several software products.
A technical bachelors degree is required. Experience in quality assurance in a commercial application software development environment desired, along with advanced automated software testing knowledge.
We are also searching for Imaging Software Design Engineers. A solid understanding of client server architecture with regards to streaming data (especially image data) from the server to the client is the key to success in these positions. Knowledge on Operating systems including Windows 2000, 2003, and Windows XP is also required.
REQUIREMENTS
BS / MS in Computer Science or related field along with the following:• Java, C/C++, JDBC/ODBC, MS SQL 2000, Image Compression, Image Processing, Socket programming
o Or
• C/C++/C#, ActiveX, HTML, DHTML, .NET Web Services, ADO.NET, ODBC, MS SQL 2000, Socket programming, XML w/XSLT, Javascript, IIS, ISAPI
o Or
• ColdFusion, HTML/DHTML, CSS, Javascript, XML, XSL, XSLT, Web Services, Web Graphical Interface Design, writing SQL code and stored procedures, Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, Dreamweaver
