Senior Technical Writer - Infrastructure Focus

Buchanan Associates (BA) is an international IT professional service, consulting and outsourcing company with office throughout the U.S. and Canada. BA is currently seeking a professional, Senior Technical Writer to assist in the documentation of network configurations and disaster recovery plans. Qualified candidates must be able to understand the type of documentation required for large scale environments containing Windows, UNIX (HPUX and Solaris), SAP, HP Storage, EMC and Cisco.
Responsibilities:
Must be able to interface and interview network administrators, project managers and network engineers/architectsDevelop and deliver configuration, backup and disaster recovery documentation for technically inclined end-users, such as system administrators and program managersDocument technical details of systemsDocument IT processes and procedures
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint3-5 years experience in Technical WritingExceptional verbal and written communication skillsWell developed organization skillsAbility to understand and carry a technical conversation regarding network infrastructure
