Senior Staff Architect/RTL Des

Intel is committed to designing leading-edge components for the desktop PC platform enabling consumer and business users to be more productive. Employees in the Desktop Platforms group focus on designing and delivering solutions for the desktop PC, including processors, chipsets, motherboards, software and services.

In this position, you will be responsible for the development of the micro-architecture and Register Transfer Level (RTL) implementation of Intel's future generation server-class microprocessor in a team that highly values strong technical contribution. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Developing the micro-architecture of a significant portion of Intel's future generation server-class CPU and implementing the design in RTL
- Working as a technical leader to drive and implement group strategies for defining server features and design targets
- Working with gate-level implementation and custom circuit macro teams to ensure microarchitecture can meet design targets
- Working with validation engineers to develop test environments and verification methodologies



job Requirements


You should possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering with more than 12 years of experience. A Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering with more than 10 years of experience is preferred. Additional qualifications include:
- Strong background in microprocessor architecture and hands-on RTL implementation
- Strong understanding of gate-level design, transistor-level design and chip floorplanning
- Multiple years of experience with hands-on gate-level design would be an added advantage
