Senior Software Developer

This position is responsible for the analysis, design, programming, debugging and modification of local, network or internet related computer programs for commercial or end user applications such as website development, customer service, email generation and email delivery. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming language and technologies. Develops tools and utilities that solve specific problems in support of our customers. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Interfaces with users and IT team members to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. The successful candidate will be working on a variety of unique and interesting applications dedicated to serving the Company’s customers as well as improving internal operations.

Technical Skills and Experience:
Application environment is focused on .NET. Primary technologies used include ASP .NET, MS SQL Server and Windows Server 2000. Candidate must be very proficient with the .NET application environment as well as the ability to maintain applications written in ASP and VB 6.0.
* BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
* Professional/vendor certification in Microsoft Certified Applications Developer for .NET (MCAD).
* 3+ years experience in software development, designing and developing web based applications and client/server applications.
* 3+ years programming experience with C# and VB languages in .NET 1.0, 1.1 & 2.0.
* Experience with object oriented aspects of programming languages and the ability to build applications using good architectural design techniques.
* Experience with MS SQL Server 7.0 and 2000 including writing and maintaining of stored procedures and modifying the database structure.
* Experience with E-Commerce website development and SSL generation.
* Knowledge on server-client structure and computer networks, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, setting up FTP sites, maintaining SQL Server DB’s, troubleshooting server hardware/software issues.
* Experience with Visual Basic 6.0, InterDev, Visual Source Safe and ability to maintain older .ASP pages.
