Senior Siebel Developer

This position is part of the Software Development team in the Corporate Information Technology group. The Siebel CRM Developer will be responsible for requirement analysis, design, development, configuration, and implementation for internal Siebel engagements that span Sales, Research, Marketing, and Customer Service functional areas.

The candidate must have strong Siebel 7.7 configuration and customization skills, excellent VB scripting skills, and a strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities:
Analyzes user requirements, designs, writes specifications, develops/configures Siebel 7.7 application, and deploys projects for enhancing CRM systems.
Balances business requirements with technical feasibility and works with business analysts to set user expectations on new projects.
Acts as the systems expert in integrating Siebel with Visual Basic applications.
Tests solutions and ensures that they meet specifications.
Develops conversion and system implementation plans.
Establishes strong working relationships with the software developers and
business analysts.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
Four or more years of experience in software development and deployment .
Two or more years of configuration, customization, and maintenance experience in Siebel platform.
One year or more of experience configuring Siebel 7.x version required (Siebel 7.7 is preferred).
Proven programming skills related to Siebel development, including eScript, JavaScript, VB, and PL/SQL.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business management, or related field is required.
Certification in Siebel 7 or higher preferred.
Consulting background is highly desirable.
Experience managing offshore development work is desirable.
Proven success as an individual contributor, as well as a track record of strong teamwork and collaboration.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
