Senior .NET Developer

The Nakoma Group is currently looking for a Senior Level .Net Developer. The lead developer will work on the maintenance and development of an application hosted for a major automotive company. The consultant will be part of a small team. The consultant is expected to assist with scoping and designing new functionality for the application.

The application includes web services, xml data feeds, several front end web applications and back end batch feed processes. The consultant will be the primary coder on the site and will work with the tech lead on putting together the designs for any new functionality. Coding is done using Microsoft C# along with ASP.NET 1.1.
REQUIREMENTS
•Background in component/object development in .Net
•C# experience required. Strong Java skills with some MS background may be acceptable.
•Knowledge of n-Tier development ( distributed environment background a plus)
•Familiarity with creating and deploying Web Services
•Experience with Style Sheets, HTML, Java Script, XML, Code Behinds
•Knowledge of IIS and Web Site Application Deployment
•Should have a background in designing and delivering complex web based applications.
•Required Design Skills
•Experience in UML design
•Experience with Visio
•Ability to share and communicate ideas both verbally and in heard copy
•Familiarity with Microsoft best practices
•Knowledge or Requirements gathering, creating project plans, putting together proposals and scoping projects.

•Experience with SQL 2000
•Experience with ANSI SQL
•Experience with developing Stored Procedures
•Experience with Normalization, creating triggers and basics of design
