Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities:
The Senior Java Developer will be involved in the full project life cycle while working with project managers and business user representatives to analyze requirements, and design and implement effective technical solutions. Job responsibilities include:
Extensive hands-on Java Development using JDBC/SQL.
Application development dealing with Large Scale Distributed Systems.
Translating Business Requirements into system designs.
Hands on experience on coding, troubleshooting and application performance tuning.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
This position requires a minimum of five to seven years as a developer on large-scale applications, which includes at least four years of hands-on development experience.

Skills:
Must be proficient in Windows and UNIX/Linux platforms.
Minimum of 5-7 years Java development using JDBC, and PL-SQL.
Minimum of 3 years experience developing and documenting system designs, utilizing UML and design patterns (where applicable).
Experience with Oracle.
Experience as a Developer for a mission critical application.
Practical experience with high volume data processing applications.
Experience in the Securities Industry, and risk management.
