Senior Interior Designer

Purpose: Aerotek has an immediate need for a Senior Interior Designer.

Duties:
- Responsible for all phases of projects, from programming, design development, and oversight of design intent during CD and CA phase.
- Coordinate all design and production activities
- Serve as the primary client and consultant contact.

Skill Requirements:
- Knowledge of design and professional standards; programming, design and documentation processes, procedures and standards.
- Ability to plan, supervise and coordinate the development of design documents and to solve complex problems.
- Possess a knowledge of products materials, furniture, construction methodology, industry practices and their application as an integrated process.
- Ability to evaluate and interpret program data to extrapolate the project requirements and client's goals and culture.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Architecture or Interior Design
- 10-20 years experience in Architecture, or Interior Design
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations and The ADA
- Demonstrated literacy with word-processing, spreadsheet and CAD.
- Understand components of construction drawings and specifications.
- Ability to review documentation prepared by others
