Senior Industrial Designer

Our Client creates retail displays, retail environments, and strategic marketing programs for clients by understanding the business landscape, market conditions, the competitive landscape, and what appeals to consumers. They provide turnkey point-of-purchase merchandising programs for their strong customer base of Fortune 500 clients. They accomplish this through research, outstanding design vision, and precise program execution. Our retail designs incorporate every facet of creating and implementing an effective retail environment solution. They handle every step of the process, including site planning, facility planning, design and engineering, production, and installation services. Located in the Delaware Valley area, the company has a 250,000-square-foot design, engineering, assembly, fulfillment, and distribution center.

We are seeking a Senior Industrial Designer to design creative displays and fixtures. Assist the Product Development and Sales teams with product design efforts. The Sr. Industrial Designer will be responsible for developing innovative and manufacturable designs, within budget, for custom displays. This position will play an integral part in expediting client requirements from conception through production working closely with Engineering and Project Management.
REQUIREMENTS
Extensive knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes including wire, metal, wood, injection molding, etc. Fixture, Furniture design and/ or Display manufacturing background very desirable! Ability to conceptualize in 2-D or 3-D Technical skills include Solid Works, Rhino, Cinema 4-D, 3D Max, Photoshop and Illustrator. Excellent analytical, creativity, customer focus, interpersonal, planning and organizing, problem solving and team work skills.

Candidates must possess a BA/BFA degree in Industrial Design and five plus years of industrial design experience
