Description:
The Sr. Electrical Design Engineer is the lead engineer globally, for all electrical design and production engineering of new and existing products. This position researches, designs, tests, and documents all aspects of electrical design and development, as well as ensures system quality from concept to commercialization. This position is also responsible for project management of integrated systems development and installation, regulatory requirements and interface with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
•Develop new product electrical and software systems, (PLC) from concept to commercial release, meeting product specification and production requirements, budget and timelines
•Lead project management of automated and integrated systems managing cross functional teams to specify, bid, design and install systems
•Specify system components and design to ensure conformance with international regulatory codes, power requirements and overall product performance specifications
•Develop and analyze electrical system designs, specifications, components, manuals and other data to evaluate feasibility, cost and maintenance requirements
•Provide feedback and expertise regarding product, process and production issues, then develop and implement resolutions
•Design test control apparatus and equipment and develop procedures for testing products
•Investigate equipment failures and application problems to diagnose causes, and implement corrective procedures
REQUIREMENTS
Position Requirements:
•BSEE, BSME, or associates degree with 5+ years of direct experience
•5+ years experience in capital equipment product development, electrical system design
•Systems integration project management and supplier interface experience
•Proficient in PLC programs, engineering modeling and related documentation packages
•Experience developing electro-mechanical systems, related testing fixtures and design verification procedures.
•Experience working with cross functional project teams
•International project experience preferred, international power and regulatory requirements experience
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
