New Opportunity exists at lead financial firm for experienced DB2 DBA. Company seeks professional responsible for the administration of DB2 for the z/os in all development environments. Diverse duties include installation, maintenance and support of DB2 relational database systems on IBM Mainframe, Unix and Windows NT platform. Responsible for DB2 object creation, object alterations, troubleshooting, backup/recovery, performance tuning, monitoring, etc. Evaluate, recommend, install and support database related tools. Must have strong DB2 background on mainframe with solid logical and physical database monitoring skills. 5 plus years of DB2 DBA experience. Z/OS, Admin tools, Z/OS JCL, COBOL, ERWIN, DB2 CONNECT a plus. Great opportunity for advancement. Top firm! Top team! To 110k plus extras.
