Senior Architect / Project Manager

Purpose: This firm is searching for a Senior Level Architect with 7+ years of experience to manage a large portion of this firm's projects and staff. Projects designed by this firm include: educational, residential, and commercial projects for public and private clients in the NY area.

Candidates must have strong Construction Administration and Project Management abilities. Client interaction will be a major aspect to this position. They should also have a Bachelor of Architecture and be proficient with AutoCAD, as well as have experience with: Photoshop, various 3D programs, Word, and Excel. Experience working with the SCA and the DOB will be a major plus! Candidates must be able to conduct field work, coordinate with clients and sub-contractors, and work from Conception through to Construction Administration.

Initial projects will include college campus new construction projects (dormitories, academic buildings), residential development projects, School Construction Authority projects, masonry and facade restoration, as well as some urban development and restoration. This firm is growing, it has just relocated to new office space, and it is looking for career-minded Architects.
