Senior Applications Analyst - Lab

We are currently seeking a SENIOR APPLICATION ANALYST - LAB CLINICAL for our INFORMATION SYSTEMS department. This position is located in Evanston, convenient to METRA & CTA transportation.
In this role, you will:
•Design and document application changes and new features or defects in application and new features or defects in application area design
•Prioritize, review, and respond to user group requests
•Participate in user meetings
•Recommend application improvements
•Train less experienced personnel on application
•Provide application support to other teams
•Test and develop test plans according to standards
•Complete necessary internal reporting and report status to management
REQUIREMENTS
Our ideal candidate will have:
•4 year degree or equivalent computer skills/information systems on the job training
•4-8 years experience in an application analyst role
•Experience with laboratory procedures and workflow, preferably in multiple modalities (micro, hematology, blood bank, anatomic pathology, etc.)
•Knowledge of laboratory clinical and device software, specifically but not limited to SoftLab and Tamtron Powerpath
•Experience with other healthcare and clinical systems preferred
