Senior Application Analyst

Our Cleveland area client is seeking a Senior Application Analyst responsible for working with Supply Chain & Mfg Group to analyze business requirements in Manufacturing and Supply Chain domain, implement Oracle Apps Solutions to support the business requirements, provide technical expertise, and produce specifications for any gaps in the application, interfaces and data conversions. Work with the development team to ensure that they understand the specifications. Work with training team to document system scenarios and identify roles impacted and help develop a change management I training plan. Continually grow knowledge of supported technology and product areas to have clear understanding of current I future technology requirements of business partner. Maintain and support the applications

Essential Job Functions

Review and Analyze business requirements in Purchasing, WIP, Discrete and Flow Manufacturing, BOM including ATO/PTO, Costing, Inventory Management etc.,
Recommending solution options, risks and costs versus benefits of various solutions
Conduct research to determine if solutions to business requirements currently exist
within or outside the business, and if not, whether new solutions are feasible
Help analyze impact of proposed solution on existing technology platforms
Provide input to buy vs. build decision based on input received from the business and
other functions within technology
Support current implementation/Lead Implementation of packaged solution / Develop
application architecture & functional specifications for custom solutions
Provide input to the development of formal business cases, when applicable
Describe business requirements / specifications to the technology team
Contribute a business or process perspective during design reviews
Assist testing team to ensure that requirements documentation can be easily translated
into test plans, and ensure that the proper testing plans have been completed
Facilitate implementation of new functionality through training sessions, demos, and the
development of appropriate documentation
Provide relevant test scenarios for the testing team; work with test team to develop
system integration test scripts and ensure the testing results correspond to the business expectations
Provide input into project / resource estimating activities
Identify and communicate risks to delivering solution on time
Project Management experience and ability to play this role in small to medium size
projects

Establish working relationships with technology team members and Business process owners
Participate in the development of solutions to meet business needs
Participate in cross technology process improvement initiatives
People Management

Manage individual workload and deliver to agreed upon project milestones
Demonstrate ability to work in team environment and help resolve issues
Provide input to staffing plans at the project-level to identify key / required skills
Lead a team of Application Analysts/Developers in a small scale project
Knowledge Sharing I Management
Share /Ieverage successful products, processes and best practices across technology
Implement communication and knowledge sharing process for team members
Assist in evaluating knowledge-sharing tools and making recommendations for
technology standard approaches / tools

Educational/License Requirements

College degree, or specialized training or equivalent work experience. College degree in HR related area preferable

Experience Requirements

College or equivalent work experience
4-8 years of relevant work experience
Strong Oracle Apps implementation experience in Manufacturing and Purchasing is a
must
Requires strong knowledge in supply chain business areas, the supporting technology architecture, and experience in implementing the following processes using Oracle Applications (Knowledge in the industry processes and very deep application knowledge)

-Procure to Pay including Purchasing, Payables, iSupplier Portals, iProcurement, iExpenses and integration with all relevant ERP modules
- Demand to Build covering the sub processes
-Design to Release
-Forecast to Plan
-Plan to Schedule (APS)
-Schedule to Build Discrete
-Lean & Flow Manufacturing
-Product Costing and Quality
-Order Management & Pricing including support for A TP and product
configuration for capital equipment
- Distribution and Shipping including integration with shipper
-Inventory management including basic inventory management, costing and
KANBAN
-Analytics and KPIs relevant to the supply chain functions
At least 3 Oracle Apps full cycle implementations
